Before you begin
Confirm approved mousse and tyre compatibility. Have the product instructions, specified lubricant, suitable wheel support and tyre-fitting tools ready. Inspect the rim, tyre and rim lock before fitting.
Use the correct method
Installation varies by product. Follow the instructions supplied with your mousse and tyre, including lubrication and bead-seating procedures. Do not borrow pressure settings or lubricant quantities from a different system.
Know when to use a fitter
If you are unfamiliar with mousse installation, use a qualified off-road tyre fitter. Stop if a component appears damaged or requires excessive force. This preparation guide is not a replacement for production fitting instructions.
Final checks
Have the fitter verify tyre seating and wheel components before riding. Reinspect according to the product instructions.
