Support without a tube
A motorcycle mousse is a shaped foam insert fitted inside a tyre. It replaces the traditional air-filled inner tube. Its material and fit help support the tyre, so there is no tube pressure to adjust.
What it changes
A tube cannot puncture if it is not there. That does not mean the wheel is indestructible: the tyre carcass, rim and insert still need inspection. The right setup includes a suitable tyre, correctly matched mousse and proper fitting.
